📈 Staying Patient Through Earnings Season

💡Daily Trade Idea – Monday Oct. 20, 2025 – Waiting for a clean setup

Hey everyone,

We’re right in the thick of earnings season, and that makes for slim pickings. I don’t want to open a position that runs directly into earnings — it makes for unnecessary risk.

That said, earnings also tend to expose great opportunities, and that’s exactly what I’m keeping an eye on. I’m monitoring a couple of names on my watchlist that don’t have a DTE that run into earnings but they don’t have an optimal entry price today, but that could change depending on how they close.

I’ll continue watching closely, and I expect to have an income trade with strong conviction ready to publish tomorrow.

As I often say — it’s always better to wait than force a trade. Patience plays a big role in being a consistently profitable trader, especially during catalysts like earnings season. Stay disciplined, 🎯-EC
