Great trade on Amazon. I decided to only grab one call contract as earnings plays can be risky and everyone has to balance their own risk levels. Glad you grabbed 3 and it worked out for us all on the upside. Thanks! And thanks for all you do!

Yes there is increased volatility with earnings and it played in our favor this time. I consistently risk $2,000 on every trade ( or as close to it as possible) and cut my losses at $1,000 so I will never lose more than that amount. Risk and money management is what keeps you in the game and it is one of my golden rules. Happy Trading brother!

It may have been or it could have been the price you paid when you were filled. Keep in mind that I'm posting as the market as the market is open and prices do change so you have to use your own discretion when it comes to that. I would guess that I good amount of my subscribers sold before I sent the update. Also, keep in mind that I had 3 contracts that I closed my examples are always based on one contract and it can adjusted depending on your tolerance and the amount that you choose to risk. Again I'm not giving advice I'm just posting the trades that I am personally making.

Amzn is up 8% and I sold mine just now (4 hours after market open), but my gain is only about $500, I wonder why. My entry price is about the same as you. Basically I follow your trade. Is it because I sold later than you and the options premium dropped?

My profit was $531 per contract so we are very close.

I now saw you had 3 contracts, that is why the $1500 instead of $500. I did not see that you had bought 3 contracts. Would you post how many contracts when you buy?
