AI and algorithms are doing all of the technical analysis grunt work right now by identifying patterns and setups but still require human eyes to consider fundamentals, news, events, and sentiment before making a trade for the average retail trader, however, I think it is only a matter of time before AI learns how to do that better and faster than a human.
